West Columbia Police Officers Foundation

Supporting Those Who Protect Us

The West Columbia Police Officer’s Foundation has provided support and funding for several projects since its inception.  Below you will find information about some of the efforts supported by WCPOF.

WCPOF accepts donations of fans and money for fans to provide relief to citizens during the sweltering summer heat. Sgt. John Norman coordinate the program through the Community Action Team.

Officers are able to attend and compete in law enforcement related competitions such as firearms competitions, power-lifting, etc. Additionally, WCPOF provides officers with free wills and financial planning.

WCPOF is able to provide equipment and other special items that cannot be obtained through tight city budgets.

The foundation provides financial and emotional support to officers and staff who suffer severe hardships due to illness, accident, and other catastrophic events.

The Officer of the Year along with the Civilian Employee of the Year are awarded a scholarship to attend a training event of their choice that is job relevant.
